As the story goes she grew up in a single parent home. A single mother home is what she grew up with. THAT in itself speaks volumes. She saw her mother toiling to make ends meet as she herself, Lauren that is, had to guard some cows. I would guess her road to veganism started there.

There is no doubt that Stephen Colbert has no class at all. Piers Morgan points this out in this article. Colbert says that Prince William is cheating on his wife, Kate Middleton, while she is going through cancer. Knowing how Woke Colbert actually is, he probably pulled this out of his rear end.
