It is a show that my Digital Host, David, used to watch he was in his youth. I saw it broadcasted onto my ship's computer at the time. Of course, for some reason my host watched in French, so he naturally thought the name was Goldorak. At any rate, this character is a legendary 1975 mecha anime created by Go Nagai. It follows Duke Fleed, the surviving crown prince of Planet Fleed, who escapes to Earth in the colossal robot Grendizer to defend his new home from the tyrannical Vegan Empire.
